The poster we made was for the images that are in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The flowers have three meanings sense there were three flowers; the three meanings are remembrance, frustration, and optimism . Tim Johnson was a rabid dog that was put down and his meaning is world corruption. There were morphadite which were change and difference in the characters through time. The mockingbird is innocence because it is a sin to shoot one.
TKAM Literary Analysis https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_lsWNvmVGifEfONcwpMNJvI-1ZrMUgjqoUCuwJCxCs4/edit This is what I found out in To Kill a Mockingbird that was most interesting. Symbolism is really interesting because animals and things are not always what the are. It tell the reader that not everything is what it seems. I'm sure that everyone has heard the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover." That is what is happening here because the mockingbird, Tim Johnson, and the three flowers mean more than what they are. Not everything in life will be black and white and as it is. You got to get what is up in the air; think outside the box. Many people do and many people don't want to leave the box. Symbolism is basically a test to see if you are willing to get out out of the box and take chances in life, or if you want to stay in the box and don't take chances in life. That is what I think symbolism is and other people could have a different opinion.
